Role and responsibilities :

  • Gain the trust of assigned key accounts through deep subject matter expertise, undoubted integrity, ability to lead and constant professionalism

  • Drive services and product sales across all areas either thru primary knowledge or thru the assistance of subject matter experts.

  • Tightly align with our services teams – PS, MS, PFS, PMO, OSS, CYBER, etc. The Consulting Solution Architect understands our various services capabilities, takes the time to communicate pre-sales approaches to the services teams and provides appropriate leadership as projects/SRs are executed

  • Provide industry best services to our AMs, leading them at times and following them at other times, helping them compete by providing quality pre-sales material (design commentary, vendor information, diagrams, rough order of magnitude documents etc.) in a timely fashion

  • Continue to learn – CSAs continually need to add skills to serve our clients fully and to maintain relevant skills as the IT market transforms

  • Align with our vendor partnerships understanding their applicability to our key account base and helping execute specific vendor programs when possible

  • Provide leadership to our clients as they operate and transform their businesses. This includes proactively bringing up technical solutions to clients and educating them on the benefits of Arkphire-Led solutions.

  • Sell consultatively – listening fully and steadily developing sales conversations to the point where the client is explicitly stating their needs, at which time we can start proposing our solutions. Fill the role as a trusted advisor to our key clients.

  • Lead, where appropriate, with our highest value offerings – Managed Services, Consulting etc.

  • Share best practices and industry intelligence with other team members

  • Support other team members as needed (work overload, specific expertise required etc.)

  • Act as a senior member of the Solution Architect team – be a role model to other SAs on the team

  • Assist with pipeline tracking including activity that may occur outside of presales but that would be seen as “value added offerings” by our key accounts.

  • Assist in account planning and documentation to ensure company leadership is able to get a “at a glance” overview of the accounts they are responsible for.

 

 

Technical Requirements:

Must have demonstrable design experience with experience in deployment, administration, configuration, or integration, being an advantage.  Experience working as a consultant and with Cisco, Dell EMC or other partners is desirable. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of various technologies and products including 2 or more of the following: 

  • Cisco Systems Networking
  • Cisco Systems Collaboration
  • Dell EMC Storage
  • Dell EMC Computer
  • VMWare
  • Nutanix
  • Palo Alto Networks Security
  • Pure Storage

 

Educational Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or military experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in one or more related areas of Information Technology Infrastructure – Networking, Datacenter, Virtualization, Collaboration, or Security.

  • Relevant industry Certifications

  • A desire to continuously learn new technologies and products
