Purpose of Role:

Arkphire are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Group IT Team to manage the Business Applications and Processes which support Arkphire’s Critical Business Applications. Key to the role will be to build an understanding of the Arkphire business processes, technically support the various business critical applications particularly across the Procurement and Logistics functions and support the business management team in developing and enhancing customer and business focussed solutions.

Duties:

  • Manage key applications currently in use – and perform changes/updates when necessary.

  • Identify business process challenges by analysing process data and metrics.

  • To critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification.

  • Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency.

  • Provide training programs on new processes as needed.

  • Identify risks and issues in business processes and systems.

  • Identify and analyse business processes to be improved.

  • Prepare business process reports for management and customers.

  • Maintain and update all the process related reports for reference purposes.

  • Recommend innovative business and technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

  • Maintain up-to-date, or create where necessary, technical documentation on the configuration of applications.

  • Ensure ITIL standards are applied throughout all processes

  • Comply with Incident and Change Management Policies

  • Plan, implement and monitor business process changes for projects.

  • Assist in making business decisions relating to system implementation, modification, maintenance, etc.

  • Ability to present and attend conference calls and meetings with clients

  • Requirements

  • Analytical, communication and organizational skills.

  • 3rd Level bachelor’s degree required.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Sage 200

  • Technical knowledge and experiencing of the following applications would be a bonus: Dexterity, Aphix, Brook, Navision, Google Big Query, SQL, CXML, XML.

  • Experience working with EDI applications in general
