Purpose of the role:
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to support the company strategy through effective project delivery, within budget and time frame to meet customer needs.
Role and Responsibilities:
- End to end project management - Project planning, documentation, scheduling, finances, tracking, technical handover
- Act as liaison between customers and team members as required
- Act as single customer point of contact and point of escalation in relation to projects
- Chair and minute weekly project meetings with internal & external stakeholders
- Manage clear channel of communication with internal and external stakeholders in relation to project status
- Ensure completion of project pre-requisites prior to project commencing
- Review and edit of engineers’ time sheets
- Create project reports for directors and larger customers
- Attend resource capacity reviews with Sales and Operations Directors
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction in relation to project delivery
- Maintain regular and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong customer relationship through onsite visits, Face-to-face communication and reporting as required
- Continuous focus on process improvement and efficient working methods
- Conduct Bi-weekly 1:1s with Project Management team members to manage performance
- Complete performance reviews and ensure all team members have active development plans
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction in relation to project delivery
- Maintain regular and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain strong customer relationship through onsite visits, Face-to-face communication and reporting as required
- Ensure onsite/datacentre visits for engineers are scheduled in advance and the site is prepped
- Ensure project completions to industry standards/best practices
- Ensure completion of pre-requisite tasks and planning to avoid issues and re-do of work
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders in a respectful manner
- Ensure technical handover to service teams are completed to ensure they are aware of customer environment changes

Education & experience:
- Project management qualification
- Experience within IT industry is desirable
- Leadership or people management qualification is desirable
- AT least 6 years of Infrastructure projects
- At least 3 years of Cloud projects
- At least 3 years of Security projects including SIEM
- At least 6 years project management experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a project management team lead role (desirable)
- Experience in a managed service provider
- Project management systems experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Project
- Proficient use of Microsoft suite
- Previous use of ConnectWise or Navision
