edgescan, the leading provider of web application and server risk management solutions announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with Arkphire, an IT Consulting and Managed Services company that specialises in transforming how IT delivers long-term value to businesses. The new partnership has been formed to better serve enterprise clients with vulnerability management and security needs.
The new alliance combines Arkphire’s Managed Service offerings with edgescan’s SaaS-based vulnerability management platform. The edgescan family offers advanced scanning technology with expert website and server security analysis, to enable customers to identify, prioritise, manage and remediate vulnerabilities. With a SaaS solution, customers can focus time and resources on the execution of other information security and ICT activities.
"Many of our customers are faced with the reality of having an increasingly high number of systems, both internal and external that need to be regularly tested, it’s much too demanding to manage these assessments using consultants or with a desktop scanning tool," said Robert Paddon, Managed Services Director, Arkphire. " This partnership will allow Arkphire’s customers to better scale information security testing from an operational perspective and also help reduce the overall cost of information security.”
"edgescan is excited to commence our partnership with Arkphire which will introduce Arkphire’s customers to our cost-effective, scalable and accurate platform," said Eoin Keary, CTO, BCC Risk Advisory. edgescan by BCC Risk Advisory is a continuous vulnerability assessment managed service. This is a hybrid offering as a managed service with human validation (edgescan security analysts) supporting customers globally and delivered from Ireland. “The combination of Arkphire’s ICT expertise and edgescan will provide an overall comprehensive solution to address the growing risk from insecure web applications and hosting environments."
